Intend as a response to the ever growing housing crisis the country finds itself in. The piece consists of a stacked tower of cast earth blocks resembling a giant ‘Jenga’ game. Each block mirrors the dimensions of the original game pieces. It is interesting to note that ‘Jenga’ means to build in Swahili. The earth used in this work was sourced from publicly owned land, thanks for Fingal County Council for their support in realising this work.
