They Had to Choose Little Known Places, is a study of every official crossing between the North and South of Ireland. Consisting of 206 drawings, this work examines every roadway, bridge and train track that crosses between the two countries in what will become the only land border between the EU and UK post “Brexit”. The works are displayed within the space on a white table and each drawing is rotated on a daily basis during the length of the exhibition. Photo credit Brian Mac Domhnaill and Sirius Arts Centre
